True confessions from a Tesla Cybertruck owner
Please don't buy a Tesla Cybertruck until you read this confession from Joseph, a CT owner who bares his soul before the world. Spoiler alert. The truth is often spoken in jest, so buckle up your Cybertruck seat belt.
Joseph Jefferson takes his story to the Tesla Cybertruck Owner's Facebook page to reveal what owning a Tesla Cybertruck is like for him. However, he uses humor to tell a hidden truth about his CT. He's delivering a profound message under the guise of humor or lightheartedness.
So, if you don't like satire, I don't want to read your negative comments, so you can stop reading now.
Are you a Cybertruck owner going through the same thing? You're not alone. Joseph's story might just be your story too.
Joseph says, "I was just as surprised as you to find out this well-known publication (60 Minutes) wanted to interview me about my feelings on being a Tesla Cybertruck owner and how I've lost friends and how this has affected me in the past year of my Cybertruck ownership. So, I told them the truth. I put it all out there, all of my feelings. My thoughts are that this will help someone else who's also going through it."
"So, this is my story."
"I used to have this friend, a really good friend. We used to hang out all the time, man. It was like my ride-or-die. You know what I mean?"
“This is so hard to say, man; it's just rough, you know, you lose a friend, a good friend. No, he's not dead; he doesn't have a Cybertruck, and I think he's kind of jealous."
"I guess it's something about the shape, I think?"
"I guess some people don't want to be happy. You know what I mean? Like, and that's on them. I mean, who thinks like that?"
"Like, it's a triangle. You don't like triangles? I'm just a Cybertruck owner. You know what I'm saying? It's just what I do. I'm just going to be me. Do you know what I mean?"
“Like, that's all I can do, which is be me. I wake up, frown a little, and then go to my garage to see my Cybertruck. That's how I know I'm going to be alright. It's day by day. Yeah, it's day by day."
“You drive it from the inside. You don't drive it from the outside, though. You drive from the inside."
The camera pans to finish with the 60 Minutes watch ticking.
You've heard the comments, "But it's so ugly."
Here are a few comments from a Reddit post. See if you can relate.
mishma2005 says, "It's even worse in person. It's a refrigerator on wheels."
curious_dead - "The rear is the worst; driving behind it, you just see this large, ugly, featureless grey rectangle. Too large to see what's in front of it, worse than an SUV or most pickups."
4got2takemymeds - "The fingerprints! The way they designed the door, you've got to put your hands on that steel to pull it forward to open it slightly. Getting in and out of the car is the only place you have to open your door, and it looks like every stainless steel fridge 24 hours after you take it home."
Technical_Map4851 - "The ugliest thing I've ever seen. Even uglier than the Pontiac Aztec."
HeyImNickCage - "It looks like how a 2nd-grader would design a car because they got a new ruler in class."
Well, you get the idea, and those are real comments from Reddit users responding to "My wife saw a CT in the wild...California plates in BC, Canada. She said it was having a heck of a time with the bad turn radius to get into a parking spot."
Tahseen Syed says in another Facebook post, "Another hater put to rest."
"I was parked, unloading some stuff in front of the business. So a lady came up to me and asked why do you drive this ugly truck?"
"I calmly said because I love it and then we chat about things this truck can do then I went and said your shoes are very ugly why did you buy them? You know what she said…….. it's none of your business."
Are You A Cyberyruck Owner? Can you relate to Joseph Jefferson's take on his CT?
